These are very strange times indeed. A recent news story says NASA plans to bomb the moon and look for traces of water and such. I have a very different opinion, as do many other scientists about why American is bombing the moon. Here’s the top 4 reasons.
4. It violates international law. Many Americans don’t realize NASA is breaking international law. The UN Outer Space Treaty has been set up so that no countries may claim sovereignty, or do anything to harm cause harm to the moon. It literally says this, “The moon and other celestial bodies shall be used by all States Parties to the Treaty exclusively for peaceful purposes. The establishment of military bases, installations and fortifications, the testing of any type of weapons and the conduct of military maneuvers on celestial bodies shall be forbidden.”
3. It could mess up the orbit. With prediction of a 6 mile wide crater, that’s kind of a ridiculous bomb. Take a step back from all modern technology, and look at what we’re doing. We’re bombing the fucking moon. What is going on here? Why do we feel its necessary? The universe has been set up so perfectly over all these years, and now we decide to mess with the moon, something that is vital to our survival.
2. It may cause conflict with other ET civilizations. If we start seriously messing with space and its bodies, ET’s are bound to step in and stop this. Many people believe there are moon bases being used on the moon right now. Buzz Aldrin has even said what he say on the moon was evidence of a civilization being there.
1. There may be ancient sites with humanities’ history on the moon. This is one of the real reasons I think the Americans are bombing the moon. Many astronomers and scientists have said they believe there are ancient sites on the moon and Mars. This leads us to believe that we were more than likely very advanced maybe millions of years ago. Maybe it was us who put the very Egyptian looking artifacts there in past civilizations. Or maybe it was past moon/mars civilization’s that gave us our influences in ancient architecture.
Whatever the case, I don’t think this is a mission to progress humanity at all. If anything it’s the very opposite.
